By 4-9-03 the patient was
no longer responsive, a coagulopathy work up including anti-cardiolipin
antibodies, Factor V Leiden, and cryoglobulins was negative. A broncho-alveolar
lavage failed to reveal infection or malignancy in the lung and all cultures
were negative. On 4-10-03 the patient suffered a cardiac arrest. An Autopsy
was performed.
