The patient is a 57 year old white male who was here on a ski vacation. While getting off the ski lift his daughter bumped into him and he developed severe hip pain and could no longer stand. He had noted progressive left hip pain during the last few months but had not had any further work-up. He has a known history of stage IV metastatic prostate cancer and had been taking Lupron for the past year.
