This 51 year old woman was diagnosed in 1993 with a T2, N0 squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx and received radiation therapy. Her presenting symptoms were progressive hoarseness with a 20 PY history of tobacco. She had multiple recurrences from 2000 - 2003 resulting in laryngectomy, pharyngectomy and partial glossectomy. At this time she has recurrent disease of the base of the tongue and work-up for metastatic disease is undertaken.
