The patient is a 73 year old woman who underwent a screening mammogram 1 month ago which was called Category 0 - incomplete evaluation of a small spiculated mass in the upper outer quadrant of the right breast.
She has no family history of malignancy and has been well all of her life. She does not drink or smoke. She has 5 children all alive and well. Her last period was at the age of 55 and she has taken estrogen replacement for the last fifteen years to prevent osteoporosis.
A repeat mammogram is performed.
