B.S. in Medical Laboratory Science
Laboratory science professionals, known as medical technologists or clinical laboratory scientists, are the detectives of the health care world. MLS professionals are knowledgeable and highly skilled individuals who perform clinical laboratory tests on blood, urine, other body fluids, or tissue samples. Medical technologist provide clues that are key in the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury, and assist in the maintenance of healthy lifestyles.

- Note: All Pre-MLS students must complete two years of pre-professional/prerequisite science courses plus general education and Bachelor degree requirements. For general education and Bachelor degree requirement information please contact University College (801) 581-8146. At the time of acceptance into the MLS Program, students may elect to complete the professional curriculum on a part-time basis.
