Research Title: Mood Disorders and the Plastic Surgery Patient

Description of Research:

The project looks at the prevalence of depression and other mood disorders among plastic surgery patients. It will look at several different populations, including breast cancer patients, general reconstructive patients, and cosmetic surgery patients. It will investigate their preoperative psychiatric profile as well as any changes postoperatively. The methods will involve chart reviews, patient questionaires, and statistical analysis.
