Research Title: Potential Drugs to Prevent Neurodegenerative Diseases

Research Description:

New drugs that may have potential ability to prevent neurodegenerative diseases according to our previous studies will be developed. The chemical, biological and pharmacological properties of these potential drugs will also be evaluated in in vitro and in vivo studies. The students participating in the Summer Medical Student Research Program may provide some assistance to these studies and, in turn, they may benefit from these NIH funded research works.
