Summer Medical Student Research Program Guidelines - 2002

  1. All MSRP participants should spend a minimum of 30 hours per week in research labs, field work, and/or the library conducting research.
  2. All MSRP participants will be expected to attend weekly seminar series on Mondays at 12:00p. Included as part of this series each student will be required to give a brief presentation about the research they will be conducting during the summer. The first seminar will be June 17 and the last seminar will be August 12.
  3. All MSRP participants will be required to submit a research abstract near the conclusion of the program, to be published in a booklet that will be provided at the Poster presentation at the end of the program.
  4. All MSRP participants will be required to notify our office if you have the opportunity to publish the work done this summer.
  5. All MSRP participants will be required to participate in a poster session scheduled for Thursday, September 12, 2002. Poster paper will be furnished by our office.
