Invited Speaker: Dr. James P. Kushner, M.D.

Dr. Kushner has been an avid supporter of research of all types at the University of Utah as evidenced by his dedication to the General Clinical Research Center of which he has been the Program Director since 1986. He has had continuous funding fron NIH since the beginning of his career. He has served as the Chair of the Gordon Conferences and has chaired NIDDK/NIH Study Sections. He is a member of the Advisory Committee  for the Center for Scientific Review at NIH and is the Director of the Center of Excellence for Molecular Hematology and is presently the Director of the K-30 Clinical Research Training Award.
