Dr. Katherine Geiersbach is a Rhode Island native who received her undergraduate degree in architecture from Princeton University.  After considering a career in architecture, she decided to pursue a career in medicine instead, and moved to Colorado Springs in 1994 to complete prerequisite training while living with her family there. Dr. Shetty received her Ph.D. from the University of Mumbai, L.T.M. Medical College, in Microbiology where she also received her Master of Science degree.
