Dr. She attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego before coming to the University of Utah for her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology. She stayed on afterward to complete a fellowship in medical microbiology before officially becoming a member of the faculty in September.

Dr. She’s research interests lie mainly in clinical virology, including respiratory viral infections and their diagnosis using both conventional methods and molecular platforms. Her research has involved the study of respiratory viruses in both children and adult populations. She is also interested in enteroviruses, their associated diseases, and the different ways of detecting and typing them.

We are excited to have Dr. She as part of the faculty at the University of Utah and ARUP. She will make a great addition here.
