The department of Pathology is pleased to introduce Marsha Williams, our new administrative director. 

Marsha’s background is in Corporate Finance, most recently working as the financial controller for a software development company.  Although she isn’t new to Utah, coming to the University of Utah has been a big change for her.  She has loved the challenge and excitement of working in the academic environment of the University, particularly in the health sciences.  She has really enjoyed learning about all the fantastic research and projects that go on in our department.  

Here, Marsha is responsible for keeping the wheels of the department greased, so to speak.  She is involved in faculty support, as well as managing administration, staff, and functions.   If that isn’t enough, she’s also the one who will be keeping an eye on the budget and department spending which utilizes her previous experience.  We think she’s already made a great addition to the administrative team.  

Marsha loves to spend time out of doors.  Salt Lake City has always been a great fit for her, feeding her love of sports, hiking, and golfing.  She is also a dedicated Jazz fan!

We are excited to welcome her to the Pathology Department at the University of Utah.
