We meet the clinical and economic needs of our client laboratories by providing timely services that shorten hospital stays and reduce the cost of each health care episode. As a leader in anatomic pathology consultation services and clinical laboratory testing, we are dedicated to discovering new and improved methods to meet the demands of the health care world.
ARUP
Associated Regional and University Pathologists. ARUP Laboratories is a national clinical and anatomic pathology reference laboratory and an enterprise of the University of Utah and its Department of Pathology.
Clinical Pathology
Clinical Pathology within the Department of Pathology consists of clinical pathologists and laboratory scientists, as well as subspecialty clinicians, who serve as the medical directors of the individual laboratories at ARUP in fields ranging from molecular pathology, immunology, microbiology, and chemistry, to substance abuse testing. These faculty provide timely consultation on interpretation of laboratory results, selection of appropriate tests, and assistance in follow up and management.
Anatomic Pathology
Anatomic pathology is a medical specialty that is concerned with the diagnosis of disease based on the gross, microscopic, and molecular examination of organs, tissues, and cells.
Pediatric Pathology
The Division of Pediatric Pathology in the University of Utah Department of Pathology is based at Primary Children's Medical Center, which is the referral tertiary and quarternary pediatric hospital for the Intermountain West.
HCI Clinics
Huntsman Cancer Institute's clinics and departments were created to research, identify, diagnose and treat different types of cancer. Our care programs bring together surgeons, radiologists and other cancer specialists under one roof, so patients don't have to go from one clinic to another for treatment.
